A work in progress…stoneware clay, terra sigillata and underglazing, porcelain molded shell.

She is definitely looking outward, seeing more than she had anticipated. Her vision is also inward, revealing possible abuse as a young female. The dog is a guardian and a solace. The shell comes from her roots near the sea, ancestral tree roots in the background sustain her through the ordeal of shedding young antlers, as the deer, for new realizations.
